Red face Ofna Ultra LX-1e - $199 - 08.17.2009, 11:14 PM

I know the LX-1 isn't a top quality kit but for $200 you can't go wrong.

What do you guys think?

Don't know much about Ofna's gear but it seems like a solid buggy to me. If they had a truggy version for that price I would have taken it over the Caster probably. The only thing I personally don't care for is that it's pre-assembled, I like to build them myself.

Excellent price, Already for electronics is a big bonus. Yeah 90% assembled does take the fun out a little but It would be wise to disassemble and check everything anyway, so you still get to tear it down and put it together.

Jammin X2-E

I was holding out for a D8-E but me thinks I'm gonna go this route instead !!!

Ofna is really starting to get some 1/8 E cars out there. I can't wait for some of the truggys to be released.

Horizon description kinda confused me is the Jammin X-2e a conversion or a ARR buggy?

Ofna really needs to update their website more often. Nothing about either buggys.

X2 looks like a conversion kit... Looks like tekno just teamed up with OFNA to sell their chassis conversion with a few bits extra...

Could be, there is no mention of shock, body or tire info ????
Maybe it is only a conversion kit.
