Chassis Questions... - 02.19.2006, 11:10 AM

I have a 7xl on a stock chassis w/ driveline, bulkhead, shock and tower upgrades. Yesterday, at the track, I broke my stock chassis. There are 2 large jumps at this track.

Gorillamaxx or FLM chassis? Is there a way to cover the batts on the G-Maxx? Also, does the extended chassis handle in the air better?

What bodies do I use on the extended versions?

Hi, the gorillamaxx would be perfect for racing, and it would hold your batteries in there nicely. An extended chassis would help in air, with adding hardly any weight, you have to use extended bodies, such as http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...rod=pro3141-00

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

FLM is good for bashing, but not so good for racing.

What about covering batts? Anywhere to purchase a pre-trimmed and painted body?

if you run a extension then you can run a mgt body which will almost completely cover them.

the gorillamaxx is the only way for a racer to go imo and you will definately be satisfied with it.

They are both tough chassis but the FLM would probably be better for bashing.
