CVD length with T/E Maxx Flextek arms? - 10.10.2009, 12:12 AM

I tried to install a set of flextek arms that I recently purchased and the traxxas cvd's are too short. I can't use the sliders because I'm running UE diffs and big bore shocks.

I need them about 5mm longer. Anybody know what might work? I also have a set of MIP's and they are even shorter than the traxxas cvd's.

I would rather find longer cvd's instead of changing the cups on my diffs.

I've never worked with the flextek arms, but I think the UE diff output cups/yokes are shorter than the cups you would use for traxxas/mip CVDs. If I'm not mistaken, the best option would probably be to convert your diffs to regular maxx outputs via RCM outputs, or revo stub axles mod.
