Truggy foam tyres - 09.27.2009, 06:39 PM

I mentioned in another thread, I had found Truggy sized foam tyres with 17mm hex. They are from ATS in Italy

I have only had a brief run & they withstood 55mph +/- without issue, I plan to go a lot faster soon & will update their performance

That looks good. Maybe you can even make a lil movie of it ?

Can / Dare I ask how much they cost?

Are the tires still holding up? Is there a link to a web site to buy them?

I haven't run them for a while but they have survived everything I've thrown at them so far. The appear to be glued with CA not contact adhesive

You can get them from Kershaw Designs...bottom of the page

Cool! Thanks! How soft is the foam compound? I figured that it would be cool to play around during practice at the local indoor tracks (as long as they say it's ok to run on the carpet). Here is a link of what one of the tracks looks like. http://marcca.com/

I'm not sure what compound Kershaws are stocking

Have a look at the manufacturers site http://www.atsmodel.com/ing/menu.htm

You should be able to select the model number for the sure you need & then Kershaws could order in...?
