my small rural hometown, pop. 3000 -

this is a story from where I growed up. it is hilarious. the lowdown: the proprietor of a local pub has been a douche for as long as I can remember. He has been verbally abusive to several females and even threatened one's life. A friend of mine started a facebook page about him. His nickname is "cowboy" The facebook page is called "anti-cowpie" (look it up, see me in rare form)
Local Fox 9 news ran an in depth story on it: http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/dpp/n...-facebook-flap
let the lulz begin

Thanks Harold! Nothing like a bit of personal contribution.
I'm not on facebook so I didn't get to see the 'rare form', but it got me thinking.... you've been a member here since '07 and you haven't seemed to have worked out that brushless chair ?????? WTF?
Ooh, I get it. You got it done and can't control the damn thing. Back of the head sore?

Ha! Unfortunately wheelchairs are "skid steer" and have some pretty sophisticated software to manage steering. Maybe someday....
I've been thinking about a 4 wheel scooter, it would be a much easier platform to hop up. As soon as you send me a couple huge outrunners and esc's I'll be in business!

Mayrand said, “It hurt my feelings. They were my friends. They basically trashed me.”
You were this guy's friend?? Did you have to rely on him to push you out the door when you were too pissed
A man of your talent should be able to rig up a diff (from those scooters maybe) and some steering (a t bar between the legs). I imagine it would look kind of like a super minature trackor puller with you hunched over it

no, not his friend. He's the enemy. Small town politics exploited by the news. Epic lulz.
I want a solid axle for big smoky burnouts. Might need a bleach pump.

Yep - small town politics are never done face to face until things get to the actual breaking point. I grew up in a town of 100 people - love every part of it except that.
Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

You know, if there are that many bars on the street then they should go to another one if they really want to hurt the guy... Then he'll have to sell it and you'll get a new bartender.

skid steer is easily done with a tank mix. I have some wheel motors that would work pretty good for your app. The problem is reversing controllers that are sensored and stout.
What voltage your chair run on, 24 or 36?

not really mate...
grab yourself 2 ESC's/motors and hook up to the wheels.
then find yourself a "V-tail mixer" they use them so that older radio's can be used for flying delta wing RC planes...i have one myself that never gets used.
hook up your 2 channel input, weather that be a remote control or just a couple of servo testers on hand controls and you are done with a little dialing in
E-revo 3.3 conversion, 249kv outrunner, 6s, MMM
the porthole from the noob world an here has been opened!! that's how i got in.

Or maybe -

Or maybe instead of building the classic chair you should move to a nice Trike design for your transport. There was aa episode on Orange County CHoppers a while back where they built a trike for this guy who lost the use of his legs in an accident. Man was that thing fast. It was one of their custom builds with a tractor seat installed to keep him upright while driving. It has all hand oporated gear on it just for his particular handicap. I can see you tearing down the road past James new house in a dress as you EGG his place.
