Wow...that looked brutal.
One thing I did notice was what the announcers were saying...
And, they seem to say this with ANY sport they are announcing for. They always say "this is the most XXXXX in all of motorsports."
They say that for this, monster jam, drag racing, supercross...
It get's SO damn annoying...anyone else notice?

I saw that one race live and it was awesome. I thought the driver was going to be hurt really bad, but it was nice to see him walking around. I'm telling you guys, the G forces on crash like that is incredible.
I know he was sore for a few days. I remember the crashes I had in my go-kart, my body would ache for days.

Oh I hear ya there !
I had a shifter cart many years ago and had a real bad wreck w/3 other carts and rolled it once. I was very lucky with only some bad bruises and broke my left hand and wrist.
Other than my hand, my body hurt for weeks. It's only the sudden stops that hurt, LOL
I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

Those were the good days for me . I got thrown out of my kart a few time, rolled a few times and almost broke my neck. Every time I got into my kart, I instantly got in the zone. It was an awesome feeling. Last time that happened was when I was 1 sec. off the indoor track record in Florida. The official record though was set by a kart racer with his own kart lol. The track owner invited me to go there a few more times, but I didn't. Being out of shape to drive a kart sucks .

I had my own cart as well and drove in Orlando. That dam thing was so much fun !
After my wreck I did rebuild the cart and drove it a few more times but I think I was a little scared to push it like I used to. I eventually sold it and moved on to something safer.
