Anyone Buying From HobbyKing/HobbyCity Anytime Soon? - 03.07.2010, 06:54 PM

I need 4 batteries (About $18 in total) for my heli, and don't want to pay $13 bucks for the slowest..

Please, I know some of you guys are about to click that "Submit" button!

If you are, or going to in the future, please let me know!

I think a few people is better. It can kind of be a pain with all the shipping thats involved when you have to many people.

mmmK, I'll let you both know when I do.

Slightly off subject but I lost my first Zippy pack today. Was running my SuperVee 27" boat with a single 4s 5000mah 30C Zippys. Changed out to a second pack and the boat was considerbly slower, WTF ? Brought it in and the pack was a little puffy. Checked w/volt meter and one cell had only 1.32volts where as the rest were 4.18,4.19,4.19. Had this pack over a year, it's paid for itself so NO LOSS to me.

I installed the second pack, threw the boat in the water and immediately noticed it was much slower. Thats when I volt metered the cells seperately and it was #2 cell that was crapped out. I charged the battery Friday night and it charged perfectly, all cells were within .1 of each other as always.
Like I said, not abig deal. The pack is easily a year old and has ben run probably a 100+ times. I got my moneys worth for the $50.00 it cost. I have dozens more HC lipos that are still fine (knock on wood)
I never run a LVC in anything, I know not reccomended but when the power peters off just stop. Cells are always at 3.20 -3.35 when I stop, Works for me ?

I may put together an order sometime this week. PM me what Lipos you're wanting and if I put together an order, I can tack them onto the order. I'll PM you before I hit the submit button, but sometimes you gotta get an order in quickly when you get word something you're looking for comes in stock.
