Hostile MXT's vs Proline Trencher's - 04.11.2010, 02:38 AM

This is for the Baja boys in the room. Man, my rear stocks are just about turned into slicks after running my 5T today. I gotta order some new tires this week from DDM so I gotta decide what will work best for me. Can I reuse the foams from my stock HPI tires in the Hostile's? Which hardness are these at DDM, it doesn't say. How hard is it to trim off that excess rubber on the hostile tires, looks like a PITA.

Above all, I'm really sick of my 5T fishtailing all over the place in loose dirt like at our bash pit, I wanna tire with some damn bite so i'm not sliding all over the place and something so those front tires can hook and stay planted. The trenchers seem like they wouldn't dig into loose soil as well as the MXT's, but the MXT's look like it will be easier to flip the car on its side at high speed turns, especially in grass. Any input on this? Needless to say, I won't drive either of these tires on concrete except at very slow speeds.

All in all, whichever is the best tire to handle this is the one I need
