fastlane bulkhead combo fit a LST ring gear ? - 05.30.2010, 12:18 AM

I'd like to buy the Fastlane bulk head combo's

Can I fit a 1/8 Losi LST ring gear in these Fastlane http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...lm18701&cat=31 Bulkheads ?
it says it fits 1/8 ring gear of less than 1.50 inches but when I measured mine with a Caliper, it measures at 1.53 in or 38.86mm.

So what's the deal ?

thanks

Im pretty sure they wont fit, its only the ofna, hotbodies and one or two other very generic diffs & ringgears that will fit correctly, the losi stuff is a bit too different.

There is a thread somewhere that lists all the diffs that are known to fit, but dont ask me where thats burried too.... :/

No, 'twas another thread but I wouldn worry too much. The best diffs to use would be either ofna hyper 7/8/8.5s or hotbodies 1/8 buggy diffs ( not the pro ones which are spiral cut, but the regular straight cut ones ). I run the hotbodies and they are good as new still. Should be fairly cheap on ebay, just remember to get the required pinions and bearings/ shims- I have a good walk-through for UE Ultralite diffs in a thread, same principle as the FLM hybrids:
