40 series O.D.? - 04.03.2006, 12:56 PM

hi, i was thinking about crimefighter 40's for my sons emaxx. is the height equel to the bowtie 40?.ive read here they are a little taller, PL cust service says there equal but crimes have a narrower tread so the sidewall wraps around the top of the tire.i want to keep the stock emaxx O.D.,and shave a little weight off our hv:dft012: one more pleez, how about the best foams?(trinity maybe?) any feedback would be greatly appreciated....thnx gmo..... p.s.: this forum is the best 411 on BL :027: :027: :027:

thanks, these are some "cutting edge" mods here.
. i didnt know they were working this well on mt's for 50+ runs! my son and i wanted to get the truck runnin this spring,we had probs with monster maxx motors and burned up 2 evx's so we went for the hvmaxx.now, after lurkin a couple a weeks i almost cant wait to fry it :010: so i (i meant we) can go 8xl lipo (lol)....

The 8xl is a big step up from the hv maxx. I ran dual hv maxx and the 7xl i went to made them look bad. The 8xl should be about the same. I know the 9xl is alot more than the hv maxx is.

Peace!

are lehner motors more durable than bk and fiego? or maybe spend more on an esc and change motors as needed?i know either could fail at any time. lets say a bk 12020 over the 9920 with lehner xls?.....
