Hot Servos.. What the???? -

Man I am just running into one thing after another here lately.. Im working on setting up my revo with a new brushless setup that I bought ot replace my old setup, that was not big enough for the truck.
Now when I plug the battery in and test function of the ESC and servos, the stering servos start to get hot real fast and Im not even using them, then one starts to twitch. I pulled the battery when that started to happen, cuz I figured it was onn the verge of doing some damage if I didn't.
Now, why would the stering servos overheat? The shifter servo is fine and Im using the tiny little one for that. I double checked all of the wiring and plugs and all is in order as far as I can tell. Nothing backwards or anything.
Here is my setup I used for the bench test when the servos were overheating:
Quark Monster125 esc (new first test), Feigao 9xl(new first test), UBEC 6V CAR(new first test) , 3S (11.1v) Lipo pack, Stock Traxxas 2055 servos, Spektrum Reciever and DX3 radio.
The center red wire was disconected from the esc to the reciever to eliminate the BEC on the controller.
What I did was do the basic programing routine for the esc, test the motor and esc for basic function, and adjust the servo travel and the linkage for the shifter servo. Thats when I noticed the stering servo was hot and was starting to twich a little. I tested the stering and it was fast and seemed to work fine. so I kept an Eye on it for another minute or so and the twiching got worse and the servos got hotter. One servo got hotter than the other and it seemed to be the one doing the twitching.
Im not quite sure what that means. Is the UBEC putting out to much voltage for the servoes. It says its a 6v bec. I would think that should be fine. I didn't have any issues with the sevoes when I had my old system in it. It was running on an older 5v UBC unit though. The servos are basically new with only maybe 5-6 runs on them.
Any Ideas?
( I realize that this might not be the ideal forum for this question, but I couldn't find a forum that fit and I figured since I ran into this issue while setting up a new brushless system...)
