Looking at getting some adapts. to run 1/8 wheels for my daughter's slash 4x4 as well as getting the FLM cvd's for front and rear...are they compatible?

17mm hexs put a lot of extra strain on the 5mm stub. I would agree with semi pro and get the teknos, they are a 6mm stub, like that of a regular buggy.

Normal buggy hex offset places the wheel over the arm, allowing the buggy to take most of the stress at the carrier. Adapters for the Slash set the offset out away from the carrier and onto the stub shaft causing more flex there on an already known weak spot.

I have Aka's on the 2x4, and the rear stubs are nothing but trouble.

Your right, my bad. I was thinking Revo. Either case the thickness between the two in combination with the offset, is a big difference.

so...in rethinking this idea I may pass and just stick to the tekno ones with no 1/8 wheels or just stay totally stock. I am just trying to give my daughter a little more clearance with her truck.

Does someone make an adapter for the Tekno axles to go up to 8mm for buggy wheels?
