MMP question - 10.11.2010, 08:49 PM

i've been using the mamba max pro in my buggy for months now and i really like it.

i was thinking about putting it in my revo and running it on 4S. is the revo too heavy? i saw they were using them in the new savage truck and thought it might be what i wanted to use as an esc for my revo.

thoughts?

I have ran the MMPro in the E Revo, but there are some things you need to be aware of.

Of course the MMM is a better choice, but since you already have this esc and you asked. LOL

If you gear for 40 mph or less, you should be ok. Just remember, conservative settings, such as punch control............will take things easier on the ESC.

If you turn the internal BEC voltage up much beyond 5.5 volts, you will have glitching. It operated my stock servos at 5.0 volts just fine.

If you use anything more than the stock steering servos, you will have to run an external BEC.

Tip: I used the MMM ESC mount with my MMPro. Just add some extra padding underneath and it will work fine.
