Flooded Engine - 10.22.2010, 02:33 AM

Hi

Recently I made some modification on my savage X SS, I put a midtank from Innovative-RC with a tank OFNA 250cc and I have a problem. The problem is there is too much fuel going into the engine, the engine floods. The silicone tube that goes from the pipe to the tank measure 23.2 cm and the silicone tube goes from the tank to the carburetor measure 26.9 cm include the fuel filter.

I Have the stock fuel line from HPI (# 50474) 2x5x300mm.

How to fix it?

Thanks

Mahikan

doing the mid tank mod will usually let the fuel gravity feed to the carb and with the addition of the pulse line is allowing way too much fuel to get to the carb. Try leaning out both needles a little and see what it does. On a side note, not to sound like a $%#& but this is pretty much an electric only forum. You should check out savage-central.com or hpisavageforum.com You will find all the info you need at either one of those

Built Ford tough, with Chevy stuff.
