I have heard that it is a great truck. It's also got a really strong drivetrain (it does have upgradeable diffs if the stock ones are weak). I would get a MT2 and convert it to electric if I could afford one.

Just a few tips on nitro if you haven't read about it or not had one. There is alot more tuning req'q and cost of fuel whereas electric you plug and play basically. The sound of nitro and ability to just to refuel is something that I like though.
I have a S-maxx which I like very much and is still stock mostly and compared to my xxxt it can handle bashing much better, it depends if you wanna race, have something zippy or wanna take it on the local BMX track.
The s-maxx and xxt are 2wd which I don't mind (I just bash around the place), but you will probably find that during fast acceleration and sharp turning that 4wd will give you more traction.

True nitro does require more tuning and stuff where electric is plug and play but as far as cost goes, I really haven't seen any real difference. Nitro does cost more stock than electric does. Once you begin doing upgrades to electric the money you saved tends to disappear fast. I have a Savage SS K4.6 and an electric Stampede and I've spent about as much money upgrading the stampede as I paid for the Savage not including the batteries and charger.
