Hi Guys.... i have had one query today... and now i have another

I need hpi 86376 but it has been discontinued!!! AND I CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE
SUSPENSION SHAFT 4x50mm

So i desperately need an alternative...

SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE ARGHHH

Does it need to be exactly 50mm (captured)? Does it have to use E-clips?

I'm sure there is something else out there but it would help to know how much room for change there is in the design.

Honestly it is only meant to hold a hub in place. I guess nuts and bolts could be used but i have never seen that... usually C Clips are used arent they.

I dont mind if it was a little long by a couple of mm as i could use shims to fill it out???

You could also use a 4mm tube with a long 3mm screw through it. That would have less play in it than a 4mm screw and should be strong enough.

Nice idea.. .but they are a little long at 60mm... but could be cut down i guess... but maybe someone can chime in that has similar length pins on their truck/truggy...

Yeah I figured there would be plenty of room for a locking nut, maybe cut off the excess.

The shorter cen gst 3mm pin work great. It is the upper arm inner pin, holds the upper arm to the shocktower/bulkhead. I will find you a P/n. I had limited success finding the part you listed, but some UK shops did have it a few weeks ago. Google it.

i googled absolutley everywhere with no luck!!! seems out of stock and discontinued...

That cen pin is only 3mm.. .it may cause play in the hub?

When I bought my Integy rear hub carriers they came with the pins that I think you are talking about.

In a kinda freak accident I bent one but Integy support were able to send out replacements to me for small fee. So maybe you could get some that way.

The hub end pin is only 3mm, but the bulk end pin is 4mm.

p/n is gs025, and you will use a m4 thread nyloc nut to retain it. Much better than e clips.

The listed specs are 4x56 but the extra length is the threads. I can take a pic for you of this pin installed in the lst hub...

otherwise linc, i like your idea of using the threaded hinge pin... I HATE THOSE DAMN C CLIPS!!!
