Has anyone eagletree'd the Traxxas 1/16th Minis? - 02.26.2011, 12:40 PM

I just got me a Traxxas 1/16th Summit.

Nice little truck! So far, it's alot of fun.

Stock setup running a single 2S 2200mah 25C pack.

I'm impressed with how much runtime this single pack is giving. It's gotta be 30 or 40 minutes at least.

I have some high discharge Makita 18650 cells that can be built into packs for this. Manufacturer claims 50 amp maximum draw for these cells. Pretty Potent.

I know they would stand up to the demand, but I still wonder what the stock setup is drawing.

Has anyone tossed an Eagletree data logger on any of the mini's to see what they demand?

Feel free to post. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Well, since the stock setup is getting 30+ minutes of runtime at 2200mAh, that's an average draw of 4.4A, and an estimated peak draw of ~25A.

I noticed inside the battery compartment of the 2.4ghz radio, there are 8 little pins.

Anyone know what these are for?

Sorry for the late reply, but here is an EagleTree session from my E-Revo VXL back from when I first bought it. Based on the title and voltage, I think this was with the stock NiMH battery.

Click to enlarge.

Amps
Max = 40.20A
Avg = 6.88A
