Tamiya TEU-101BK esc

Tamiya TEU-101BK esc - 04.23.2006, 05:26 PM

hi all, i was wondering if the Tamiya TEU-101BK esc in my blackfoot extreme could handle 7 cells with the stock sliver can motor. thanks

I think most escs can go 7cells. I am not totally positive though.

I wish I was more help to you. Sorry. If all else fail could get one that would run the 7cells. The worst thing is make the smoke come out. ;)

thanks. what would be a good brushless setup for this truck. i would not want i to be super fast maybe like 25-30 max. i was thinking of the novak ss4300, but i would rather go sensorless. i can only fit 7 cells max:dft001: . thanks

Maybe a 7020 and a BK or Fieago 8s motor.


The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

If not real worried about speed and stuff Not exactly sure how big it is either.
A basic 4200 and a mgm 8012. The 8s sounds like it would work to. But not sure on how strong the driveline is.

the driveline is the same as the tamiya twin detonator but with only one gearbox. it is 1/10 scale also. :003:

I don't think you would with the mgm but I have heard yes and no on the 7020. I always ran more cells so. I think you may not have to cause I think they changed something on the newer ones in the bec area on the 7020.
