SNR RC8 parts - 03.27.2011, 12:08 AM

Ran the buggy today after rebuilding it a couple weeks ago with the new geometry graphite towers and chassis from SNR graphite. Shaved quite a bit of weight off the buggy, around 120g, but the tekin motor I installed pretty much ate up all the weight savings compared to my 1512. Oh well, the front tower is 5mm and super beefy, rear is 4mm I think. Chassis is 3.7mm thick and has the same front kickup as stock. Only thing I could gripe about is the sides of the chassis are flat so the mudguards fit funky as hell. So I took them off, problem solved. Car weighs just over 3300g ready to hit the track battery and all. Not too shabby, the towers really woke the buggy up as well. kept the same setup ive been running and the car is dialed. very ballanced, great power, and I love the tekin motor on the mmpro. super smooth and runs cool. no issues with brownouts or any of that even with my brushless digital futaba servo. Overall very impressed with the graphite products and their performance at the track.

Oh yeah got a couple bodies done recently, really like the way they turned out. what do you guys think?
