Mamba Monster is getting hot -

Hi. I noticed my MMM getting really hot and I don't want to fry it (lol who wants). So what if I would connect the fan directly to the receiver so it would be always on. What do you think?
List your entire setup, including tyres, gearing, voltage, battery type & brand, vehicle, terrain you drive on & type of driving you do when it overheats.
Just running the fan constantly will not fix a poor setup, the esc will still overheat so you need to address the setup and stop it from overheating to start with.
You can't fry it, the MM has a thermal protection. Anyway, what do you mean by hot, do you have a temp gun to check ? The MM can endure temps that would cause your fingers a lot of disconfort. Check your setup too, maybe it's overeared ?

How does the thermal protection works?
Does it automatically or do I have to adjust if so where do I have to adjust?
Because my new MMM fried after two months.
Yes it has thermal protection, but personally I wouldn't rely on it. Heat is the enemy, and getting the components that hot is still undue stress and will reduce lifespan. It's good to have thermal protection as an insurance against failure, but really you never want it to reach that point.
