Nothing wrong with that. No need to knock trx all the time just because they have what you don't like. They're pretty darn successful. I'm wondering why I didn't get into this hobby and maybe do sales 20yrs ago. I could've possibly been retired by now. Can't go back though so we'll just look forward..............

Forum talk - 04.13.2011, 07:26 AM

That even made me laugh watching that guys drifting around the parking lot with his kids toy. Poor kid.

As for the TRX forum well maybe there are a few smart guys in there, but if so they would no longer be there, but the Nazi control freaks that monitor the forum have a lot to be desired with their childish ways. Banning people who do not agree with everything that they say is gospal. I never joined over there because after a few days of watching the rediculous antics they force on their members I never went back again. Plus I have had the same Yahoo email account for nearly 20 years and because it is not a pay for account they will not allow me to join. Another control issue that they will not live without. So like most in here I searched for a more intelligent solution and found RCM and the UE forum where people can actually post their opinions without nazi SS tactics to sensor the threads just because they are not of an enlightened language they understand. Don't even come in here and start throwing defenses for other forums at us, or you will start a descusion that you wish you didn't.

Some of them guys are fairly active on your boards in here, just look around. I see them pretty easily. Some or the censoring I agree with such as vulgar language with minors present on The forums and with the ban on hobbyking. Hobbyking went and violated their copyrights so its only deserving to kick their stuff.

Traxxas pays for The servers, equipment and other stuff so they can decide what gets posted. it would be the same as if you owned it you would get to make the rules so why help the competition.

RCM has a post when you come to their home page about people violating their rights as well by illegally copying there products which we all know China wont do a thing to enforce because their communist. I have 4-6 email addresses and a free gmail account will work over there. I have a couple yahoo email accounts and They by far generate more spam than the rest combined. MSN and other are spam targets as well.

Just because I say something you don't agree with doesn't mean I'm going to bow to you so stop your barking because your barking at the wrong tree. I've watched these forums for a long time as I have castle products as well as novak and traxxas as well as losi. I'm not stuck on myself and in one gear as you make it sound that you could possibly. I use rcm for my castle and mod stuff. I guess because you hang out here that you feel it gives you a superiority over someone who uses a traxxas forum as well. I just have one thing to say, just grow up and don't be so self centered.............

I don't have any videos but I boosted my son's Power Wheels Jeep to 6S with TRX connectors and he used it for over a year before he was simply getting too big.. www.modifiedpowerwheels.com has some good info on upgrades, including rubberizing the tires, I would consider that since we went through rear tires as he could not help but peel out constantly.

Ha ha that's almost child abuse. The kid is sitting there leaning forward like go go go. The guy in The one I posted put a modified switch in The pedal and the kid gets to control.

And we do not dispute any of your points in the first three paragraphs. Well said. But that is not the kind of control I was talking about. A good company will listen to constructive criticisum in order to learn how to improve their products and make them even better. If you complain or make one negative remark regarding any of their products you are banned for life. This is why TRX is struggling to be on top, because of the crap going on in that forum. If you disagree with any of their Mods you are banned for life. If you make any statements against their political beliefs you are banned for life. That is not what any of us call reasonable control of a public forum, it is Nazi sensorship plain and simple. Yes there are a fair bunch of guys from TRX in here, because a lot of them are getting sick of the crap over there. Most are newbies, and those that are not have been in here for a very long time because they were banned over there or just got sick of dealing with all the little kiddie games.

I never said one thing about what products you use or do not use. I could care less. You are the one who spouted off in defense of TRX forum in our site showing your the one who needs some growing up. We just do not care to hear about it, so let it go. This is exactly why most of us avoid the other forum. All I said was don't come in here and try to shuve your feeling about the TRX forum down our throats.

Those 2 videos are pretty sweet! Makes me wish I was small enough to ride one! I have a feeling I would collapse one of those things though. Maybe i could put platic wheels on my quad and drift around like that

Yea IIRC those toys are only rated for like 90 lbs. You could see in the very first video that the wheels were tilting inward under the extra weight load. I honestly thought for sure he was going to colapse that thing in one of his turns. It wouldn't be too hard to fab up some kind of home made rig and do the same thing with a more sturdy axle setup. There was a full on demonstration here in town over the weekend, and they had quads, dirtbikes, E-mountain bikes, and cars that were all electric driven. Very impressive technology. I also read that the "Smart car" was going to be sold in the USA in 2013 under the all electric concept. If they do we will get one for our retirement for running back and forth to the store and such. Specs are still not determined but the electric smart car is alreay selling in the UK. So its just a matter of time.
