Nice, Rare & Common Maxx Chassis List... -
03.08.2012, 03:08 AM
I know it will take me a while, but I REALLY want to build a full-blown Supermaxx out of most of the really cool, rare or common Chassis...will you guys help me list the chassis that are out there? I already have a new Lightning & an eMaxxler, so here goes a list of both Nitro & Brushless Chassis:
[01] Custom CF
[02] Razorback (or is it just Razor)
[03] Lightning
[04] Thunder
[05] Predator
[06] Blackbird
[07] eMaxxler
[08] eMaxximum (eMaxxler's big brother)
[09] Racebomb (aluminum, carbon-fiber, lexan)
[10] Dominator Hybrid (DUH Ti Version)
[11] JT Racing (Bulkhead & UE VBS Versions)
[12] HCR Mutant-Maxx
[13] Hardcore Racing (their 1st aluminum version for the old E-Maxx)
[14] Xtreme Racing (maybe?)
[15] ???
What others can you guys think of? Also, do any of you have any of the chassis listed, or the ones you add to the list?
Thanks in advance!
-Chad

I'm maxx crazy myself and have never heard of the eMaxximum.
Can we get pics of each of these chassis'? Please!

_paralyzed_, I could be wrong here, but I BELIEVE that plettenberg's version of the eMaxxler chassis is called the eMaxximum because it is bigger (longer & wider), and can mount either bulkheads or VBS. The above chassis in the pictures is the eMaxxler, which I now have, but I hope to find and buy one of the 12 eMaxximums that plett had built! Best I can tell, only one eMaxxler chassis was ever made, and I have it!!!
Arct1k, I have been staring at plett's pics for a few days now, heh...I hope when I get done building the eMaxxler that it will look just as good. Of course, I am building it with white & black powder-coated & anodized parts instead of silver, so it will be a lot different! When I start to get more parts, I will start a build thread and get ideas from everyone on what color to make each part!
bosox had this chassis, I bought it from him, and he was running black VBS-T with white Knuckleheads on it, so I think I may go that route instead of VBS...what do you guys think?

Not bad -

Thats not actually a bad price ($499) either if you wish to go that route. It is probably one of the rarest chassis setups out there for sure. Personally not all that great of a design from my pespective. Everyone has their own interest.

Amazing to me the prices some of the rare maxx chassis fetch...wow. I also have a soft spot for the maxx trucks as they got me back into this hobby again after a 20 yrs. absence.

Very nice list!! I have thought of making a thread citing all of the E-Maxx chassis made by manufactures before not just the rare or expensive ones.
I would most certainly include a GMaxx chassis. Probably the G3. And would eliminate the Xtreme racing. I've seen that chassis. CLICK personally I think it doesn't make the list. It seems as if you can still order one. If so maybe they are not rare.

What kind of price tag do one of these supermaxx's bring or how about one of the trucks pictured above? Some of the nicest rc's I've seen.

It really depends on what parts are used in the build, but anywhere from $2,500 to $5,000 to even $10,000 if the rarest parts are used!

I need to price out the entire parts list to see exactly what I have invested in it...
