Need brushless help e-lst2 project 1717 xo-1 or tekin for 6s - 10.20.2014, 01:57 AM

Hey guys I am not a racer (maybe on day) or a hardcore basher but just want a truck to last a long time and be reliable on 6s. I have the gens ace 5000mah 45c 6s1p. Which brushless combo is better I'm goin crazy tryin to figure it out and I've been readin up the last month on everything. This is what I've learned
- lower kv is better on 6s
- I know 4s or 5s is the safest but which setup is perfect for 6s for longer
runtimes (does the more s's mean longer run times I know it is more power) I
have a happy trigger finger but not with 6s it scares the ish out of me watchin
vids knowin 300 dollars just burnin up
- both tekin and cc have been up in smoke
- tekin- racer Cc-basher
- I now hav tdr mount and single speed hub
- i want the green 1717 but can't find so went for the xo-1 1717 but I think the
kv is to high (which esc is best)
- tekin recommends lowest kv for 6s like 1400 or sumn on website for heavy
trucks
- tekin has the lowest kv out there for 6s (but that 1717 tho fits the chassis
width almost perfect)- would proper gearing help keep things cool
- I heard of leopard but purple is not my color

I have seen people run these 2200 kv systems and a lot people say they burned up. It could b bcuz of their batt choice or faulty systems but I need help for choosing the smartest.

PLS HELP I need a good system on 6s not lookin for top speed so mediocre gearing for jumps and some speed runs thanks guys been awhile since I have been lookin at rc cars
