G-Maxx chassis extension

Cant the g-maxx chassis extender fit the UE VBS?

You have to drill holes in the skid.

with the gmaxx ext. the skid is replaced by a non bended front skid. (which is longer than the rear one)

I thought you had the FLM bulkless on yours?

I have the ext gmaxx and ue bulks, the problem is the holes of the front skid do not line up with the holes on the rear bulk. Regular skids have the same hole pattern for the front skid as they do the back. The ue's are different so when you go to put the front skid on the rear bulk they dont line up. And to make things worse they are close enough that if you try to drill another set of holes they will overlap with the existing holes. You are better off taking a regular front skid and modifying it (larger countersinked holes and narrowing the area between the arms).

Yes, the UE's differ, but the g-maxx extension rear is basicly a normal front skid, without the bended part

I do have the FLM Hybrids, but I thought I might change them. IF the VBS is by any chance better than the FLMs.

The ue bulkheads are made of 7074 aluminium which is harder and stronger than the flm's. They have much easier access to the diffs change in half the time. They also have setsrcew captured ti hindge pins no more E-clips. The skid\bumper works very well it also allows you to nose it into a jump or landing and not have the bumper wip you into a cartwheel.
The Flm's are also very nice and allow the use of aftermarket parts other than ue high dollar stuff. They also cost much much less.

My hybrids took one heck of a beating at the bash, trust me! And i didn't break a darn thing, didn't even bend a hinge pin or anything! I crashed it almost every jump, and still, nothing broke! I love my hybrids!!!!!!!!!!

The one thing about the UE VBS is the front is redesigned to have a different caster angle and thus proveds alot better handling.

The Hybrids are indeed very good, but the thing I like about the UE is the fact that they make most of their products with extreme precision. They're pro made Maxx parts. They cost toooo much and that is an ugly problem by all means.
