Help me build my G2R and GorillaMaxx single speed transmission - 08.22.2006, 06:45 PM

Hi all:

Im working on gathering the necessary parts for a G2R and have a question re. the transmission.

I purchased the Gorillamaxx single speed tranny but do not have an emaxx transmission.

Can anyone tell me what all else Ill need and what you would recommend going with?

Thanks all!

You can look at the Traxxas exploded views and get part #'s or you can E-mail Mike. He can hook you up with all the parts.

Just check on ebay for e-maxx tranny's and buy the Hardened steel idler from rc-monster. Get some CVD also if you can and don't forget to do the fuel tubing mod for the center drive cups.

The tranny is easy. Mike sells all those parts needed. basically just need the top shaft, second gear, and a steel idler, that's it! Real simple. Oh, and the bearings for it....
