Need to convert to 1 speed - 10.04.2006, 09:09 PM

I need to find a way to convert the 2 speed to a one speed on my BL LST. The brushless power is just melting the speed after about 2 runs. I used epoxy to mount only high gear with the slipper tight as it would go and it ran great for about 5 min until the epxoy broke loose. In high gear it will still wheelie on command up to about 30 mph then it just gets crazy up to around 50 mph or so. I'm epoxying again and letting it sit overnight to see if it's any stonger. I may take the Ti-Ni gears I ordered and use JB Weld for a super strong gear.

On another note, I need a motor that will run on 3S and a Mamba Max controller to run a Emaxx for my son. The 5700 Max motor I am using works but it's so fast even in low range it's hard for me to control. The EVX blew up the first day I had it. I think I should just send it in for repair and run him stock with Titans with two 2800 Ni-Mh batteries that I have already.

I personally wouldn't go for 3S, but...a 6 or 7XL might be a choice...

I can move the 3S and Mamba combo over to my B4 buggy. What's the best setup for his E-Maxx?

He likes to pop wheelies but doesn't need anything over 20 mph.
