Apache 5s 18.5v 3700mah LiPo Battery Pack - 11.05.2006, 07:16 PM

Usually most people run 2 lipos or 2 7 or 8 cell setups. But with these batts-Apache 5s 18.5v 3700mah LiPo Battery Pack would I scratch 2 batts and only use this one. With quark185 and feigao 9xl motor could this set up handle this lipo pack plus what kind of run times and speed.

Yea, you could run 1, but why? I would choose a 2S and a 3S (one on each side) so it is balanced better.

i thought i would be good because less weight and I was not sure but i thought it might fit in the middle of the gmaxx chassis but that might not work now that i think of it but most importantlly will the quark handle up to
6s. also are the team orion 2s each.

Yes, the Team Orion LiPos are 2S. The Quark is rated for 6S, but most people have problems on 6S and can only run upto 5S. Also, a 2S and a 3S are gonna weigh the same as a 5S, so there it isn't gonna be lighter to go with a single 5S...

It really depends...There good, but I don't like the fact that they are in the hard case. Yea, its a nice feature, but how will you know if one of the cells is puffed up? or if one is getting hotter than the others?
