diff between rusty and pede -
02.01.2007, 07:38 PM
hey well eventually i will be getting the flm chassis and everything for my mm 5700 setup. im not sure if i should go with the pede or the rusty. i have fun racing but i have WAY more fun bashing. like doing backflips and what not off cliffs. will the pede handle any better? or is the only difference the height?
thanks for any help!!

You have any vids/pics of your setup? How about upgrades? I will be dropping a Mamba Max 5700 in my Rustler here shortly!

I also had a FLM brushless stampede and for bashing, it'll be better than a rustler. You won't be disappointed with either though. They are both awesome.
And yes, the stampede is just higher than the rustler with a different chassis. That is pretty much the only difference. Oh, and a different body, if that matters.

I love the FLM stuff, it always looks great! Maybe I found my next project after I do a Jato BL!

well actually i liek the way the ruty looks when you make it look like one of those racing trucks uk? like get the crowd pleazer body on it and stuff!! SWEETTT!!! but i thionk im just going to stick with the rusty because it looks way better and if i want it to handle like a pede i got a little custom conversion thingy that i found out. lol not really a conversion just a weird thing i realized when putting the shocks back on. ill get a pick of it later today when i get off work!

I like the rustler more. It is the sleek look that gets me too. The pede would be my basher, though.
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

The only thing you would really have to change to convert a rustler to a pede is the chassis. Then add chassis braces and you're good to go.
