Lmt 1940/6 or 1950/6 - 02.21.2007, 02:11 PM

Hello
I have a e-revo now i'm runing with feiago 8xl, but thinking of buying a LMT motor but i wonder should i go with the 1950/6 or the 1940/6?
Like i see it i would get more speed with the 1940 and with the 1950 more power?
Who should i go with?

Sorry the bad english i'm from Norway

The 1950 might be overkill in a Revo. I don't own either motor, but just judging from the relative performance of the Feigao motors, I'd say that the 1940/6 would be a tad bit too hot of a motor. You might be better served with the 1940/7. A lot depends on your choice of battery configuration.

What are you after? The 8XL (and similar motors) are great. We're running one in a Losi 8ight and it's making me wish that I had gotten that instead of the 7XL. So far, I've done a Sportwerks Turmoil, the 8ight, and a Monster GT. I've found that shooting for around a 2000kv motor is the ticket for 4S Lipo. If I was going with higher voltage (5S lipo), I'd probably shoot for something in the 1600-1800kv range.
