9920 changing function on its own

9920 changing function on its own - 02.23.2007, 06:56 PM

i played with my e-maxx today, i've only ran this controller once or twice since i got it, so i plug the batteries and a couple seconds later it beeps and now foward is reverse and it did this to me a few times when i would come to rest. now i did have low radio batteries, so i will try that first, any thoughts?

Wierd things can happen when radio battereis are low. Try it with new batteries and then let us know.

Yeah, i know what your problem is;

the program jumper jumper came loose from the board, or the program jumper itself is sitting loose. Fix that, and your problem will be gone.

Did you mount the 9920 with a piece of foam underneath it, or did you strapped it on bare aluminum or such?
