Want another vehicle...which one? -
03.07.2007, 04:50 PM
I'm looking to buy another vehicle to convert to brushless and just can't figure out which to get. Here's what I've been looking at:
Losi 8ight
Losi 8ight T
Jammin CRT
Jammin X1-CR
Ofna Hyper 8
Whatever I get, I'd prefer to run 2x Trakpower batteries as I've already got them and will probably order more soon. I'm also planning to use a MM ESC. I'm just waiting on you guys to push me in a direction...

CRT or 8ight T. 8ight T if possible since it has that awesome narrow chassis.

I like the CRT's personally. An MBX5t are also nice. If you wnat to spend some bucks, convert a kyosho M777 ST R ;)

I would go with the MBX5T Pro Spec or a MBX5 Pro Spec or a XB8EC or a XT8. I guess it depends on what you want, the buggy or truggy.

There are a bunch of nice truggies... the 3 best imo:
Jammin
Mugen
Losi
I like the looks of the Xray too...
The Kyosho I don't care for so much... small and narrow next to the others...
Heck even the Hellfire and that Robitronics look nice from a distance (haven't seen them in person or on the track :) )

A nice truggy with some steering mods would be an LSP pro-r too! I was thinking one thing when i was looking at pricing - why does the losi 8ight t cost more than the mugen mbx5t, is it that good? GD, get some pics PLEASE!:)
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Personally, I don't like the Hellfires. If I was to buy a truggy to race, it would probably be a Mugen MBX5T Pro Spec or the LSP-R with alot of mods. The LSP's can hold there own...

Alright!!! I'll get some pics!!! :D
I got my 8ightT for $550 so i think it's actually cheaper than the Jammin, Mugen,Kyosho,HPI,Xray... ummmm not sure about the others....
I forgot about the Cen truck too.. it's been very good at the big races... almost all of these truggies can do very well on the track.

maybe i'm late but,
the mugen mbx5t (does not even need to be prospec)
drives easy and goes like stink ( from what i read about them)
the 8T on the other hand is very hard to drive at first, people say you'll even want to sell it because of it. but once you master it it is wicked fast.
if i need another truggy ( will have the muggy soon) i def. get the
MOOGEN MBX5T
