Ratio change in HP Pro diff? - 03.03.2007, 09:34 AM

Does anybody know if you can change the ratio of the HP Pro diff to the same as the standard one.
I think they both have a 43t crown/ring/spur gear. But the pro has a 10t pinion and the standard has a 13t. (I'm not sure if that's right or not).
So can you put the 13t pinion in a pro diff to change the ratio?
Is the cut on the ring gears different? Is the ring gear positioned differently?
Thanks

the cut of the tooth is helical of the pro.
the teeth are more to the center then on the normal, because of the smaller pinion.
so you would need to swap both R&P out for the normal ones.

Thanks, I thought that might be the case.
