Plug size - 03.19.2007, 08:38 PM

As you guys know i orderd a LMT 1940 8T from mike. I need to know what is the size of the plugs on the lehner are they the same size as the shulze 1897 ?. If they are the wire from the 9920 ESC will not go all the way into the plug. If i just solder it to the end of the plug is that okay ?.

The plugs on the 18.97 should be 3.5mm as well as the LMT unless you got a High Amp version.

Hi cory

No i did not get the hi amp version. I happen to have a complete set of 3.5 mm plugs. What about the wire if it does not fit into the plug, can i just solder it to the end ?.

Personally, I don't think that would be the best connection. I would twist it really tight and then either enlarge the hole or take a razor blade and cut a few strands off at a time...

Cory what i ended up doing after talking with brian, was strip the 12g wire down to 14g . Then i tined it put in the plug then i soldered it.. You should hopefully have your package tommorow,.

I'm looking forward to getting it. :) That and a few small items I got coming from Mike should be all I need...

Sorry to jump in, but what does the Hi-Amp LMT's come with? I'm getting a 1950/6 Hi-Amp soon. Does it come with just wires sticking out and nothing more (thats what I heard)?
