Are there any differences between a highly modified SuperMaxx( vbs, racerX, gorilla chassis, slipperential, etc..) and a very good truggy like the Kyosho MP777 ST-R or the Mugen MBX-5T?
Are truggies wider than SuperMaxxes?
Do they handle much much better, considering a SuperMaxx with a slipperential?
Thanks,

If i had a say in which is better, i would think your supermaxx would be pretty much un beatable on the track with a pro racer, but still im sure you have got over 3000$ in that truck and a prospec runs for around ~$590.
Im not sure if truggies are wider, someone else will have to clarify this. Im not bashing on the truggies since they are very competitive machines, but a supermaxx tricked out like yours is an amazing machine!
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

i think they are about the same size. altough a truggy is lighter i asume???
and i think (IMHO) that truggy's have better geometry.

Yeah, but the VBS' have a modified geometry for racing as well. I guess the new truggies are better than the SuperMaxx in that the body covers the whole truggy from head to toe. I did not use a truggy body in my SuperMaxx, though.

Jolly, we arent talking about integy here, we are talking about UE, 7075 aluminum, amazing design, the only thing which is probable to break are pillowballs, but even those are hard to break. Expensive to replace, yes, but you still have a good 90% chance of it not breaking.

I'd agree about the aluminum thingy from one aspect: they're so shiny you'll have a very hard time till you decide to run the SuperMaxx. Most truggies are made of super hard composite plastic with carbon fibers and it doesn't look as charming as the SuperMaxx.
