c50 MAXX VS neu 1515 1y

Hi guys any thoughts on the difference between these motors it will be for racing in my g2r revo on maxamps 8000mah 4s lipos on my quark. If ever I will use it for my mgm 24160, can i use the NEU 1515 1y for 6s lipos? without any heating problems? thanks

Big Difference,

C50MAXX is an 8L (35.8mmx51mm) version with heatsink while 1515 is close to XL (39.5mmx68.58mm).
Kv is also quite different...
6S for 1Y Neu 1515 is too much, I will go with 2Y or 2.5D.

In REVO C50 MAXX will be kind of weak choice, while NEU 1515 would be nice.

You welcome,

By dimensions they should be very close to each other in terms of Power, but Neu being 4-pole motor has more torque at lower RPM by definition.

In addition Hacker rated their C50 XL-cans at 60A while Neu motors rated at higher currents, which means more torque again.

So, by all means same Kv motor from Neu will be 5-10% better then Hacker. Do not forget efficiency.

Actually the C50 Maxx is not an 8L... it's a 12s!! :) Same kv as an 8L though...

I was thinking about 8L while dimensions put from S-can. Bottom line it is not a motor to compare with Neu 1515 series.

the neu will have got TONS of torque compared to the relative weak hacker.

aim for the 30-35000rpm.
