Large pinions - 05.27.2007, 12:53 AM

Where can I find 30+ pinions 32pitch for 5mm shafts? I know Kershaw has them but I'm rather order from else where.

I don't know of anyplace that sells pinions that big short of a special order. There is a guy over at the Traxxas forums who makes his own large pinions: http://monster.traxxas.com/showthread.php?t=355002

Mike can make you one. He told me that he has a 30 teeth stock to make one. You better check with him, though.

No the pinions are the only really good thing he has. A friend bought his 700 motor mount kit. The motors were used and burn out in a few minutes and the plate was poor quality and that's putting it nice.

I was looking at Kershaw's Plastic ones and thinking, if they were available in mod 1 and could handle the real power of brushless, might be a good alternitive to the plastic spur, at least cheaper to keep a few and replace

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
