Welcome to the forums.
That stuff looks good for stock equipment, but the performance is nothing new to us. LOL.
I'm assuming that the 3400 motor means that it's a 3400kv motor. I like that alot. I didn't see anything that would indicate that the system is sensored, so I wonder if that motor will be compatible with the MM esc. On the other hand, I wonder if the traxxas esc is only rated to 3S because of the internal bec. Maybe an external bec would allow the use of 4S.
I hate to say it, but curiosity might get the better of me and I might just have to pick one of these up to see what it's all about.

I was really expecting Traxxas to come out with a new e-maxx or e-revo, but I also have to admit that this is pretty cool. I mean 70mph... Thats crazy!! And it comes stock like that!!
I wonder what the price for the whole thing will be though...

I highly doubt it'll do 70mph by only adding a 3S lipo pack and changing the pinion. I imagine you'd have to buy the anaconda tires to even have a chance of it being controllable.

At 3500KV (?) it would need more voltage or a biiiig gear to hit 70
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Its probably a BIG gear.
Either way, from what I could see, performance was around Mamba Max level, and in an RTR, thats a huge step for the BL side of the hobby.
BL Revo: CF G2R, LMT1940/7, 6S FP 30C Lipos, MMM, Hitec 5955TG
CRT .5: 7075 Ext Chassis, LMT1930/7, FP 25C 3S Lipos, MM

Yeah, they look very nice and well built (end bell in particular)
I don't see the point in going 70mph in a Rusty though? useless? IMO :032:
Regardless, it is VERY nice to see brushless finally hitting mainstream R/C models! :027:

I doubt that it will run 4s even with no BEC. they have a built in over voltage protection that wont let it run on anything higher than what it rated for. Unless there is a way to hack the software I doubt it will run 4s from the sound of it.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

What kind of BS is that?
The promising thing is that its rated for 200A continuous, and the on resistance is low, suggesting there is a good number of FETs. OTOH, traxxas is good at overselling thier products, so who knows.

Thats RTR BS. Preventing the clueless from frying it with a 5s pack and then whining.

The Acces section has a 31T pinion listed... ouch
Given that the specs are a 3S 20C 8000mah (160A) to do that, its going to be a huge amp hog. Still tho, they are claiming ~1000W+.
Wth is going on tho? Suddenly traxxas has the big amp BL ESC? Too bad the programming options look so limited else it could find its way into larger vehicles. All in all we'll still be waiting for a true BL MT esc.
Wonder what the CC/Tekin folks are thinking?

This esc can run both sensored and sensorless! How much for the complete cars?
