Having some big problems - 06.21.2007, 04:32 PM

Hi.

I have some big problems with my controler on the revo. First of all i have the stock traxxas controler parts and a HV-Maxx 6.5 system installed witch runs on 14 cells GP3300. Here is the problem. I cant run more then 5-10 meters from me without the truck begins to act wery strange on trottle response. Stearing is ok all the time. And i cant get the trottle to be smoth it just jumps away as sone as i touth the trottle. I have tested another radio contoler and reciver but still same problem. Only thing i havent tested is to change crystals becose i dont have any. Can it be that simpel ? It worked just fine when it was nitro. Please someone help me :)

Sorry for the bad english...

I guess the BL system produces too much noise and thus interference for the 27Mhz AM system to handle. I'd get at least a 40Mhz FM System (I assume you're living in germany where this is an allowed standard) or a DSM system depending how much you got in your wallet for it...

Do you use the Reciever pack together with the ESC? You don't need a reciever pack with the HV-Maxx.

Try moving the antenna and receiver as far away from all high current wires (battery and motor wires) as possible.
