Titanium Wing Mount Towers - 11.19.2005, 11:03 PM

I sent off a few emails to moderators for this forum, can someone please contact me about advertising?

I made these for my Proline T-maxx/Dominator Hybrid and then realised they should work on a G-maxx!!! I would like to give a set of these away to a deserving member for review, photos, testing, more photos, and promotion. Who has the hottest Gmaxx on the site?

If G-maxxers don't run run wings, please say so.

You'll want to speak with RC-MONSTERMIKE, I'd suspect an E-mail is in order for him. Gmaxxs can and do run wings if they have the towers to accomodate them.

Oh yea' Welcome to the forums. Seen your threads over at UE, as you have been developing these. Good luck!

Try again, 0700. I didn't get any e-mails regarding the shock tower! Try mike@rc-monster.com
Oh, and send a set my way while your at it! :)
I currently use the nova hybrid towers, but am looking for a tower with more/different shock mount holes(UE shocks are too long to use these towers effectively on a g-maxx with UE suspension). Also, why not simplify the set and only offer the ones with the wing mount? Then, you only have one part to produce. The wing mount won't hurt anything in the front, either.

Those towers see too low for UE shocks? it looks like it is going to be higher as with the UE towers?

These towers are definately shorter than the UE towers. That is the point of them, actually. Keeps the body mounted lower(covers the cells on a g-maxx, or the motor/electronincs on a dominator or similar nitro truck). The UE shocks are long, though, and need a [plae to mount them a little higfher than the Nova Rc towers, or a little further in. They work AWESOME with big bores, though(Traxxas shocks).

Yeah, those bigbores are pretty good, i'm hearing good things about them.

Would these keep the arms about horizontal when looked from the front/rear to the truck?

do the UE springs fit those shocks?

There are two sets of towers "Regular" and "Short", both are made for UE shocks, but for different bulks or arms.

You would use Regular on any maxx with maxx style arms.

You would use Short on the tall Proline Dom Hybrid bulks.

You would use Short with G-maxx arms.

I wanted a matching front tower without wing mount holes for looks and weight :) As long as they sell it won't matter that there are 4 parts instead of two :W:

UE springs do not fit big bores, but lundsford do.

The wing mount IS the big advantage.
They are much lighter than other wing mount maxx towers.
The wing is much lower than other wing mount maxx towers.
Nobody alse makes wing mount hybrid or Gmaxx towers.

And most of all they match my ti skids and chassis!!!!!!

I'm using the HCR small block pro chassis and skids, but want to move to VBS-Towerless-Ti skids
