Mike took down 2nd with his Electric 8T. I'm in the center with my Electric CRT but to be honest, we were all WAY outclassed by Keith Leonard (Electric 8T) who broke and DNF'd. Alex Byron held the E-Maxx torch taking down 3rd. All brushless. Sad we had such a poor turnout. I was pleased that my lap times with my E-CRT were better than my Nitro CRT. I've got a funny picture of Mike who was struggling all weekend long with his Nitro CRT, when I download from my camera I'll have to post it. Nitromares are one of the big reason we all love our electrics!

Oh, sorry Mac, I only recognise the Monster :) Congrats anyway!

Do you have an idea what Keith was runniing in his 8T?
And what means DNF'd?

I'm pretty sure Keith had the same motor I ran which is one of those mystery XLT-1's.

No kidding, everyone showed up for pix with dirty trucks and Mike pulls out this brand new shiny and clean amazing body...he didn't race with it - and I can't blame him.

What are they like compared to the more familiar feigaos etc? Waht kind of esc/batt setup do you run them on?

I think they pretty much identical. The mystery is what "Kv" they are...7XL? 8XL? I don't know...It is fast as heck...I replaced the bearings with Ceramics and use a Schulze 18.97. I'm running TrakPower 4900 Batteries (which are wonderful.) I have made 15 minutes with that setup (Just Barely...cool day...easy track) however normally I don't push it beyond 10 mins with a warm up lap or two. Fan and great ventilation is required. One of these days I'm going to upgrade to a high end motor...I want to bring the temps down and be able to make 15 on any track.

As if you don't know  LOL

Yes, and it's a big honor for me to see it on Mikes' truck. And on the podium-pic too! Wow!

I can't take credit for the design. Mike asked for something "easily visible", and I saw that design and could not resist :013:

In person the paint job is even better. Also I know a few people who came to look at the trucks not making the loud noise and many commented on that shell...
