Similar thing happened to my 9918 back in mid-December. Except that the pins after the black part broke off. There was no way that I could repair it, and since the controller was damaged anyways, I sent it to BK to be repaired. At the time I did not know that it would take 4 MONTHS to finally get it back to me. But, I wish you luck with getting that repaired! You should just be able to solder it back on to the posts that it broke off of, to save yourself time and money.

Thats what ive been trying to do, Since i suck at soldering, ill take to my lhs and have them do it. If it still doesnt work, i guess ill send it back and wait.
It wasnt the easy task, since the half the metal broke off from the circuit board, but we managed to fix it, and reprogamed it. Thanks for all the help. Now all i have to do is mount my batts on my savy bl and it shall be complete
