GS Storm SUT??? any info?? - 11.08.2007, 02:37 AM

I just picked this up on ebay today. I tried to find an conversions here for them and it looks like nobody's bothered yet. Did I get a lemon? I haven't heard anything bad about the SUT so why not for one "c" note.

There's only two big issues with the SUT design:

1) the wheelbase is shorter than most truggies.
2) it uses buggy-length arms, so those blue spacers are needed to get the appropriate width.

i've heard of people being successful with the truck on a track after some tunning, but i don't know of any convesions. i have both a gs buggy and truggy roller at the house, although i just hacked the truggy chassie for some aluminum. i think if you search there is a extended pro chassie out there. there is also a long arm kit, tomohawk i think or something like that. i wouldn't give up on it though i'm sure it can be a decent truck.

heres some parts

Thanks for the link tashpop. I heard about the long arm conversion, and I found truggyracers just last night. I love a good challenge.
