E Revo build - 11.07.2007, 09:48 PM

Here are some pictures and this thread will be updated as this project progresses. I parted out my 2.5 so I need some parts yet to be complete. The Tekno stuff is awesome and very well made. I do not have the motor mount fastened due to not having half the original Revo mount, just ordered it though. I am using all 12 9 grade Tony'z screws too, they are of really nice quality! The conversion by Tekno is well worth the money guys!!!! Started with the bare 3.3 chassis and got this all done today. I am going to put on some CVD' so the driveshafts will be gone along with the center one's. I need to bulletproof the drivetrain as much as possible for this project. Last picture the girl caught me snoozing at the computer.... Like my new Tekno shirt????

Comparison of the 2.5 in the background

ESC mount. I will be running a Novak fan on it too to keep it cool

Good picture of the motor mount (not fastened down) and the ESC mount

LOL, at my best............... Loving the new Tekno shirt!!!!

I talked to the owner of Tekno about that because I already had the radio box and servo mount, he said that eventually they will offer things individually but for now it will just be the kits.

BEEFCAKE!!!!

Just kidding, nice looking truck, I just received my Tekno kit and need to clean up the used roller I bought. Go thru the trans and diffs and make sure everything is ok before I add the power. What electronics do you plan to run?

As far as electronics I am going to be running a Hitec 965 for brake, Hitec 985 for single steering, Spektrum receiver, and then hold out for the Monster Mamba Max and then get one of the Neu motors with it. Probably going to run a 4s Li-po and I will end up getting 2 for sure so I can be playing outside when the other is charging!

Good to hear about how well the Techno conversion is going.

I like the plastic shower curtain over the dining room table too.
