Old lipo vs new Gamo pellet gun (Video) -

I was gonna' give the 'ole salt bath of death to an old 3s 1100 mAh lipo I had laying around, then I thought, "Why not shoot it first with my new 1200 fps Gamo pellet gun?"
Not much happened really. It smoked after a few shots. It bubbled a lot and heated the salt bath to about 130F.
I'm guessing it didn't hold much of a charge or we would of seen flames..
Yeah, it was charged to 12.6 V, but wouldn't take any mAh capacity (like less than 100 mAh. I've got a 2s that's doing the same thing from the same company. I went way too long without charging them. They were just cheap-o eBay packs from a couple of years ago.
I'll have to charge up the 2s as much as possible and shoot it to see if we can get any better reaction from it.

Post results we would like to see what happens could be a learning curve for people to know in case they puncture their Lipo's

Mine didn't make a difference. I had it fully charged when it puffed. I shot it last week. I will try to post the results tomorrow. Maybe yours might be different.
Any details on the gun? Im a great lover of all things airsoft & airgun related. I was expecting it to react a bit more violently than to just smoke a little; weirdness.....
It's 1200 fps with Gamo ammo. It's a single shot spring-loaded gun. Very high quality as far as pellet guns go. It's amazing how powerful it is. Very fun.
it's cool - i wasn't laughing at you - i was laughing at the hilarity of the video. somehow the quick paced feel of the footage mixed with someone shooting a lipo battery, and watching it flip all over the place, just struck me as being funny. sort of took me back to the printer and bat scene in 'office space'.
