You mean you signed up with another (new) account, or just asked a mod to change your screen name? Option 2 is better than option one; most forums ban people for having more than one account.... but we are all chilled out on here.

why?

because i've been known by Capt'n Ron and Team F.U.B.A.R. Racing in the rc boating world for years...

i wasn't aware of [option two ] mean no harm, and i assure you my [MSN TV2} account and unit are history!

if it's a banning offense so be it...

Regards,

Ron

This isn't some little kiddie forum that people create 50 accounts each and bash each other, let the guy change his name, he doesn't mean harm and he even posted here just so everyone would know.

No, Kill him!

I know what you mean though- its a banning offence on most forums since its generally trouble makers, con-artists and idiots that think its funny to keep coming back and being a PITA. On RCM we are all sensible grownups with grown up attitudes- very few really young annoying kids like the Traxxas forum. I just suggested option 2 since that way you get to keep your post count & join date, which shows how experienced you are... sort of.

lol! i'm sure you were leaning more towards the 'sort of' portion. folks who assume i got into this hobby in feb. '07... well, let 'em assume, i guess.

the best signature i've seen is someone on the UE forums... it goes something like 'proud member of I.D.G.A.R.A. how many posts you have club'

True. I think most of those die-hard noobs (and there is a difference between noobs & newbs) take a look over here when I suggest a useful thread or something like that, then they start reading, get scared of the intellectual nature (I almost include myself in that statement, lol) of the discussions and prices of our rigs, then quickly leave for the safety of the Traxxas forum chesh (sp).....

i think self-deprecation is underrated. i have bad gas AND bad judgment. some days i'm pretty sensible, though.

(at least we don't own an anteater costume!)
