Plug revitilizing tip - 11.22.2007, 08:13 PM

If your 5.5mm plug ever loose there real snug fit i have a fix for you. Put the male end of your 5.5mm plug in a vise, tighten the vise just enough so the plug does'nt move. Then i take a broken integy wrench it's right at 2.8 mm in diameter , & grind a very small point on it . Just enough of a point so it will allow the rod to slide in straight. Then i take the wrench & lighlty tap it with something solid until it bottoms out . Then remove the wrench & your plugs will revitalized & fit very snug again. I hope this helps some body.

I do the same thing, but I just use a small nail.... just make sure the gold plating is not worn out on the outside... cuz if it is, it's time to replace it....
