Hello Members,
just like to know if its normal for my connectors to spark on connecting them to the ESC...? makes a hell of a light show and those around you that dont know panic when they see it. so i am putting it out there... you guys get this all the time?
Castle Neu 1520 on 6S LiPo Powered Gmaxx (Nitro Killer)
Predator with OS .21TM
Supermaxx with Mach .26
Revo with OS .18TZ
Kyosho ST-RR Conversion
Ofna CR with Tekin ESC/Motor (2)
Not only is it completely normal, but attempts to attenuate it may lead to premature controller failure. Enjoy the light show and watch the nitro guys pee their pants when you plug your rig in!
Yeah you don't, Patrick himself has said doing that will mess up any Castle controller I think, not just the MMM. However, I have not seen the light show yet since I've installed FW 1.20. Maybe it's because the batteries were < 12v when I tried it, I dunno.
1) It's cool!
2) It doesn't hurt anything except the connectors which are easily replaced when they finally wear out.
3) Add some more caps! The bigger the spark, the more your competition will fear you!!!
