jnev's long past due update -
12.31.2007, 10:23 PM
I have been gone the past couple weeks mostly due to school and then I went on vacation so I had even less time here. Anyway, I have a break from school now, so I should have more time for rc's.
Anyway, I have two trucks at the moment... a brushless RC10GT and a brushless Revo. The Revo and RC10GT are both 100% finished, but of course, I'll be adding upgrades when I have the money and time, so they are not actually finished. The only thing missing on the RC10GT is the ESC, which I will be getting soon, but for the time being, I will transfer the one from the Revo into the RC10GT. The electronics in each one are in my signature...

Since both trucks are done for the most part, I am now wondering what I should do for my next project... I am open to any idea, but would like them to be nothing like my current cars.

I'm leaning toward a 1/8 buggy at the moment, but I'm still undecided. lincpimp - Really? I don't know why they aren't working. They work fine for me..... do you use Firefox?

I can't see any of the pics either.
Is this a permissions issue from the source?

Pictures didn't work for anybody, so here are the links. Feel free to post the actual pictures here though. Hopefully the links at least work.

You had a 1/8th buggy before didn't you? So you'll know if it's something you'll want again.
Why did you sell the buggy?
Do you want a car for general off road and a bit of on road bashing?

I did have a 1/8 buggy, and I really regret selling it. I needed to sell it to fund for the Revo, and although the Revo is a heck of a truck for jumping and in the dirt, it doesn't really suite me for general street bashing, which my 1/8 buggy did perfectly. And I am looking for something for on road and off road, but I will consider anything. I even started thinking about getting a HPI Baja 5b SS, but then again it is 2wd so traction will start becoming a problem with BL power.
There are so many options... the main ones being at the moment (all brushless):
1) Losi 8ight
2) Associated RC8
3) EXT CRT.5
Any others?
