emaxx tranny idea - 07.22.2005, 12:01 AM

so today i was looking at my twin force and emaxx, and i thought, why dosent somone put the twin tranny in the emaxx? its nearly bullet proof, and its really durable. all that would be needed is a chassis that could accept a dirrect bolt in for the twin tranny and that would be it. measure it correctly so dog bones would be a dirrect drop in. i think i may try it some time.

That sounds like a good idea for durability especially with some of the brushless setupsthat people are using.

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

The emaxx transmission can be made tough too, with the steel idlers and a strobe slipper.

I know, but the dual force tranny is lighter and lower profile. might be a nice addition to a G-MAXX conversion

yes, but it will be lighter, and there wont be many worries of a geat breaking/slipping.

crazyjr, that is a good idea. i might get a g-maxx chassis and make a conversion for myself, to use.

My BL, strobe slipper, G-Maxx single speed conversion w/ TI UE dog bones are SOLID!

Not to mention the G-Maxx CF X- tended Chassis and G-maxx suspension.....

It's all good, just adding to the convo.

Try it out, maybe you'll have the next generation of E-maxx parts in your hands.... Interested to see how it comes out.

You're right, i forgot that it was discontinued, I was just looking at the origionality of the idea. also if you already got it, it looks like it has a better slipper without an upgrade. besides it's different
