KYOSHO inferno gt - 12.18.2007, 07:29 PM

I saw one of thes today @ my friends store.
http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/carsand...ars/31812B.asp I must say i was pleasintly surprised. I think i would make a nice onroad car once you get rid of that NASTY nitro motor . A nice 4s or 5s lipo & either a 9XL or a NEU if you can afford it & this thing will be awsome.

If you like that check out the OFNA Ultra GTP. It is similar, but cheaper!

I saw that all ready but it is a single speed with a fixed spur, no diff or slipper.

Actually the rtr GTP has a two speed. I actually bought a Yusa on road car that is very similar to the inferno. It has a 2 speed with some killer gearing, looking at my intended setup, 2nd gear should get me past 65mph! I am actually adapting a tekno electri clutch to a modified 4tec 2 speed clutch bell. Should work and allow the use of a smaller motor due to the 2 speed and the clutch.

i dont pay retail, so the price difference is no big deal . I dont really think i will convert one. I just thought they would be a good choice for a conversion . If i did convert one i would probably sell my crt as a roller to finance it.

Rc Car action just did a article about a brushless one...

Motor was kinda weak imo and so were the batteries but it was water cooled which was a cool little feature. i forget what company makes the conversion but its pre sweet considering the price...

Well i sold my CRT & im thinking again about converting this car, but my friends are telling me to leave it nitro . If i do convert it im thinking 8xl or 9xl on 4s with mike's 2speed adapter & motor mount.

No way with leaving it nitro! I'd have to drive down to Largo and kick you in the rear.
